1: Padmasana

In this asana, the hands and feet are placed in such a way that it forms a lotus shape. Hence this asana is called Padmasana.

Method:

Sit straight with both legs extended on the ground. Then alternately place both the feet side by side as per convenience. Then bring the thumbs of both the hands together with the tarjanis as per Jnanamudra and place them on the knees. Keep the spine and head in a straight line. It is imperative to keep the eyes closed.

2. It is helpful in curing diseases like Asthma, Insomnia, Epilepsy.

3. Increases the chances of losing body fat.

4. It is a useful asana for pranayama and meditation.

2: Vajrasana


Doing this asana strengthens the bones. Hence it is called Vajrasana.

Sit on the body with both the legs bent at the knees, the toes together and the heels facing outwards. Sit upright with both hands placed on knees. Keep both knees together, keeping breathing normal.

1. Digestion is produced well in the stomach, so food is digested well.

2. For pain in every joint of the foot.

3. Get relief from diseases like constipation and urgin.

4. Do this asana ten minutes after meals.


3: Sarvagasan

Thias asana is called Sarvagasana as all the organs of the body are active.

Lying on the back, breathing in the lungs, slowly raise both the legs together. Raise the legs, hips and back in a straight line. Support the back with two hands from both sides and keep the elbows on the ground. Keeping the shoulders straight and the back of the neck flat on the ground, maintain the balance of the axis with the legs straight.

Keeping breathing normal, vision fixed on the toes. In this asana, the weight of the body rests on the shoulders.

3. Nourishes the thyroid gland.

4. Impure blood is purified.

4: Vrukshasana

As the body is shaped like a tree, this asana is called Vrukshasana.

Stand on one leg at any time. If it is difficult to balance on one leg, the support of the wall can be taken. Bend the other leg at the knee, placing its heel above the base of the first leg. Bring both hands straight above the head from the sides, placing the palms touching each other. There will be a state of bowing to the sky. Keep both elbows straight and breathe slowly. Then do the same action on the other leg. This can be done four to six times a day.

2. This asana improves blood circulation in the nadis of toes, knees, elbows, etc.
